Covid 19: Learning from History about Disaster and Economic Inequality

The Grand Challenge to Reduce extreme economic inequality initiated a webinar series in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The first of this series examines what we can learn from history in responding to disasters to limit the impacts on economic inequalities that were exacerbated by many of history’s past disasters.  The webinar features network leadership, Trina Shanks (University of Michigan), Laura Lein (University of Michigan), and Jennie Romich (University of Washington), as well as Executive Committee member Michael Sherraden (Washington University).
