2025 GCSW Doctoral Fellows | Call for Applications

The Grand Challenges for Social Work (GCSW) is pleased to announce the call for applications for its third doctoral awards cohort. The Doctoral awards are an exciting new element of the GCSW’s efforts to GoGrander and are generously funded by the New York Community Trust.

Doctoral awards of $3,000 are available to support dissertation or capstone expenses of social work doctoral students whose work addresses at least one of the Grand Challenges. It is expected that awardee proposals will discuss the impact on and potential to create policy and practice changes. One award will be made for each of the 14 Grand Challenges.

Review Application Guidelines for further information and requirement details.

Applications are due by 8:00 P.M. EST, March 31, 2025.
