On March 1, 2024, the Western Consortium for Grand Challenges for Social Work held a virtual conference that focused on how community-academic partnerships can tackle social work’s Grand Challenges. Based on that event, the organizers have put together a toolkit that summarizes the various community-academic partnership models that were presented and includes an outline of the event’s planning and implementation process. We hope that these materials can be used to help support the development of more academic-community partnerships and/or convenings to discuss how such partnerships can be used to address the Grand Challenges.
